I have a website with ‘LoginStatus control’ in master page. So every page shows the login status.
I have a secure login page, say https://mysite.com/login.aspx.
After someone is logged in, if he is directed to secure home page with url https://mysite.com/home.aspx , the login Status control shows him as logged In, but it he is directed to insecure home page with URLhttp://mysite.com/home.aspx. the loginStatus control shows him as not logged In.
I cannot figure out that once a person has logged in, why his status is not reflected correctly in insecure pages, while it is update in same pages with secure connection?
Can anybody please shed some light?
