The site runs fine on the IIS8 test server and in the IDE. I try to run it on the web server and I just get a blank page. I'm impersonating a domain admin account in asp.net and anonymous user. Windows forms is also enabled. The site authenticates the user through active directory and I used the example code provided by Microsoft on their web site. The server is currently running one static html site and this is the first .net site to be installed on it. Looked at all the installation settings in the Server Manager and everything seems to be OK. The config file sets a default url to the login page from the default.aspx. I've been having authorization issues as well and a static file handler error as well when I try to run in a classic app pool. Like I say, it runs fine on the test server. For what it's worth, here is the generated code in the blank page.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head><title></title></head><body><form method="post" action="" id="form1"><div class="aspNetHidden"><input type="hidden" name="__VIEWSTATE" id="__VIEWSTATE" value="/wEPDwUKLTQxNDA4MzY4MmRkCbsr1088v9Z7FC9uIXZ4OjDYyRgi2Ofief4iqhvlDzA=" /></div><div><!-- <a id="lnkSiteMasterTestPage" href="SiteMasterTestPage.aspx">Site Master Test Page</a> --></div></form></body></html>
I really don't know IIS so I'm kinda feeling my way around. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
