I am hosting my asp.net vb.net website on Godaddy. it was working fine for the last few years. All of sudden from last week onwards asp.net forms authentication is not working. After logining in, the login status control on the website is not showing as logged in. (I am from EU region)
I have also the SSL certificate and the pages over https some times show that they are authenticated; but not always. If once logged in over https, I cannot log out. Clicking on the logout button does nothing. I have contacted the GD support, but they could not help and they say they have done nothing on the server. They asked me to recycle the app pool but that didn't help.
Interresting thing here is, one of my frieds who is in Asia can log on to the website without any problems.
The website is working fine on localhost, compile without any problems.
I am banging my head for about a week. I do not know how to fix it.
