Hello All,
I have seen a number of posts about this but none have seemed to solve my issue so i am hoping that this post may help. I have created my website using webmatrix 3, it works fine when i run it locally on my system but i have now uploaded all of the files to GO DADDY and i get the below error. To show the below error i have replaced the web.config file with
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<configuration>
<system.webServer>
<httpErrors errorMode="Detailed" />
<asp scriptErrorSentToBrowser="true"/>
</system.webServer>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
<compilation debug="true"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Many suggestions say that in this situation you should amend the web.config file to include the latest version of DotNetOpenAuth.Core I have tried this, altering 4.0.0.0 to the version i have 4.1.4.12333 but this didnt do it. Even if i delete the web.cofig file i still get an error (just a runtime error without the detail). Could it be that i have saved the .dll files to the wrong location on GO DADDY? I have tried to save them all in the same root folder and then added sub folders just as it looked on webmatrix. Any suggestions would be much appreciatated as i am pulling hair out! Not much hair left.
One another thing i have done is update NUGET within webmatrix to the latest version. There are still updates waiting though, one is for DotNetOpenAuth.Core which i am unable to do as i get an error stating ....
An error occurred.
The 'Microsoft.Net.Http 2.2.28' package requires NuGet client version '2.8.1' or above, but the current NuGet version is '2.6.50319.301'.
NuGet.NuGetVersionNotSatisfiedException: The 'Microsoft.Net.Http 2.2.28' package requires NuGet client version '2.8.1' or above, but the current NuGet version is '2.6.50319.301'.
2.6 appears to be the latest version that i can get for webmatrix :(
