Asp.net identity with existing web forms web site using vs 2012

I would like to implement the new adp.net identity with an existing web forms web site.
The site was built with vs 2012and I would like to keep it this way.
I see most tutorials are with Mvc and 2013
First- can I use 2012
Second- can you point me to samples for web forms?
