I have a web application that was compiled against .NET 2.0 and is now being hosted on a remote server (www.mysite.com) On my Windows XP machine I ran the caspol -machine ... -addgroup ... -url www.mysite.com FullTrust... and added the www.mysite.com to my Trusted Sites in IE 8 and the dll opens up with no problems.
I am now trying to do the same thing on my Windows 7 (64-bit) machine. I have executed the caspol command above in both Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework and Framework64 for both v2.0 and v4 in both directories. When I run caspol -lg, under my Trusted Zone I see my site. I have also added the site to my Trusted Sites in IE 9.
However when I try to run the dll fromt he web application, I am presented with a screen that says I do not have the proper permissions.
I know caspol has changed as of .net 4.0. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have a solution?
