How do I get userID of a logged in user?

Hi please I don't know How to get the UserID of a loggedin user and use it to insert record.

If I user this code below it gets a wrong Id:
if(page.user.Identity.Authenticated)
I can get username of a loggedin user but I want to get the UserID.
