I am in the process of deploying an asp.net application hosted by one of our company server. It will be made accessible without login to staff via intranet and to external partners via internet. However the data that will be made available to end users will be slightly different depending on whether application is being accessed from intranet or internet. This will be implemented using a session variable that will be passed as parameter to the various stored procedures. Could someone guide me on the different options to know if an end user is running the application from the intranet or internet ? We do not wish to publish separate copies of the web front end and HttpContext dos not seem to be the best option hence looking for another alternative
