If I have an application that would have multiple companies on it with multiple users how would I enable a way for the user to be part of multiple companies. So that when the user signs in the next page they see is "Which company would you like manage" with a list of the companies that they can manage. Then from within a ASP.NET Core API be able to reference the company that they chose when they make CRUD operations?

I was thinking that having a users table in the API with additional information on the user would work but then if I was to split the application into multiple micro services it would be difficult to sync all of the tables.

I do not mean Azure AD / Office 365 companies, I mean companies that can be stored in a data store separate from Microsoft services if need be as an entity specific to the application.
