I would like to use a login page for system. It uses windows auth method to validate the login. Then, the login should pass to SQL server (SQL server uses windows auth to login). And system will use the views with SUSER_NAME() to restricted return data.
However, is SQL server windows auth only use PC's windows logged in account? Can this windows auth validation use the input login form? This is because some public machines (logged in impersonate account) allow different user to use. They will use their windows login account name/password to login system. If SQL server can only retrieve machines login account, all users cannot use the system with public machines.
Is .NET possible to pass windows login in login page to SQL server?
