I've set up openauth providers Google, FB and Twitter. They all succeed in authenticating the user on those sites and provide an email address, and possibly other info, back to my site. But the email address given from say Google is not entered into a table. This is fine if there isn't an associated Google login for the current user. What happens is the user is asked for his "login", presumably for my site. But once the user puts in his username or alternatively his email address he is then informed "The E-mail supplied is invalid". What I believe is supposed to happen here is that the user gives their username for my site and then that is looked up in my users table (in my app the table is called "users") and then, if found, the user is then associated with the email from the Google login in the user's openauth tables.
